Key rules published by the Inter-Education Board Examination Controllers Committee.
Applications for rescrutiny of SSC 2026 results were accepted online only, from 11 August 2026 to 17 August 2026, at https://rescrutiny.eduboardresults.gov.bd. The Inter-Education Board Examination Controllers Committee has announced that the rescrutiny result will be published on 10 September 2026 around {result_time}. This year, boards are carrying out an actual re-evaluation of answer scripts in addition to the usual marking checks — a change from previous years, when only the addition and transfer of marks were rechecked.
Six simple steps on rescrutiny.eduboardresults.gov.bd. Follow them in order — the portal will not let you skip a step.
Go to https://rescrutiny.eduboardresults.gov.bd. On the Student Information card, choose your Board from the dropdown, type your Roll No and Registration No, confirm the exam type (SSC) and passing year (2026), then press Submit.
Use the roll and registration numbers exactly as printed on your admit card.
Enter a mobile number you actually have access to, then re-type it to confirm. The rescrutiny result will be sent to this number by SMS, so double-check every digit before submitting.
You only enter the mobile number once. If you apply again later for more subjects, it is already saved.
Your subject-wise result appears with the grade you received. Press Select next to each subject you want re-examined. For a two-paper subject such as Bangla (101–102) both papers are charged, so budget accordingly.
Selected subjects appear on the right with a running total. Use "Remove" to drop a subject before you pay.
The Total Payable box shows Tk 150 multiplied by the number of papers you selected. When the list is final, press Pay Fee.
Two subjects with two papers each = 4 papers = Tk 600.
Choose your payment channel and complete the transaction. Detailed payment instructions are available under the Help button on the portal. Keep the transaction ID until the result is published.
Never share your PIN or OTP with anyone. The board will never call you to ask for it.
After a successful payment, come back to the application portal and press Submit. A “Thank you” confirmation appears and your subjects move to the Already Applied list with the total amount paid.
Your application is only complete after this final Submit. Take a screenshot for your records.
Pick your subjects and see exactly what you will pay before you open the portal.
The rescrutiny fee of Tk 150 per paper can be paid through any of these channels.
Pay from the bKash app or by dialling *247#. Choose the education-fee / payment option and follow the on-screen instruction from the portal.

Official help manualA plain-English explanation of what rescrutiny actually checks.
Board challenge — officially called rescrutiny — has traditionally verified four things: that every answer has been marked, that no question was missed, that the marks on each page have been added correctly, and that the total has been transferred correctly to the result sheet. For SSC 2026, however, education boards are additionally carrying out an actual re-evaluation of answer scripts, a departure from earlier years when only these clerical checks were done. If a mistake or difference is found, the result is corrected and the change is announced. If not, the result stays the same and the fee is not returned.
The examiner verifies that no answer was left unmarked.
Confirms that no question in the script was overlooked.
The per-page totals are recalculated from scratch.
The final figure is matched against the result sheet.
This year boards are also re-evaluating the answer script itself, not only rechecking the marking.

Everything students ask about SSC board challenge 2026.
Board challenge, officially called rescrutiny, is a paid re-check of your answer script. Traditionally the board verifies that every answer was marked, no question was skipped, the marks were added correctly and the total was carried over correctly. For SSC 2026, boards are also carrying out an actual re-evaluation of the script.
All SSC and HSC rescrutiny applications are submitted at https://rescrutiny.eduboardresults.gov.bd. This is the only accepted channel — no manual or paper application is accepted.
The fee is Tk 150 per paper. A subject with two papers therefore costs Tk 150 × 2, because both papers must be applied for together.
Applications were accepted from 11 August 2026 to 17 August 2026. The portal stopped accepting applications after the last day, and no extension was granted.

No. Most applications end with no change. A grade can improve if a real error or difference is found, and in rare cases a correction can go the other way. For SSC 2026, boards are also re-evaluating scripts rather than only rechecking totals, which may affect more results than in previous years.
Yes. Students of Dhaka, Rajshahi, Cumilla, Jashore, Chattogram, Barishal, Sylhet, Dinajpur, Mymensingh, Madrasah and Technical boards all apply through the same portal with the same procedure and the same fee.
